Cabernet Sauvignon Linea Ars Magna

Following the metaphorical juxtaposition of the medieval table "Ars Magna" by Ramon Llull, our CABERNET SAUVIGNON is represented by "Potestas," as it expresses in Latin the meaning of powerful, capable, dominator. Grown on a hillside of loamy loamy soil oriented toward the sea, it succeeds every year in surprising with its excellent ability to
achieve perfect grape ripeness. The combination of so much care in the vineyard and in the cellar to interpret each individual vintage frenders a mighty interpretation of this label from the ARS MAGNA line.

Harvesting and Vinification

Harvesting is by hand with bunch selection, destemming and sorting of the berries. The grapes thus selected undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration for about 48 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden vats, resulting in maceration on the skins for 10-15 days. Upon racking, the resulting wine is placed in new, fine-grained French oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and subsequent maturation for a duration of about 18-22 months with frequent bâtonnage. Maturation in the bottle continues for at least 18 months.
