Our Chardonnay, named after a small river at the edge of the vineyards, the Rio delle Rose, is a wonderful representative of our terroir.
Pome fruit, apple, citrus peel, white blossoms and a hint of banana, pineapple, with a mineral impression. On the palate, powerful, juicy, fine mineral development, very delicate persistent creaminess.
Grape variety: Chardonnay, vine age approx. 80 years. Maturation: 14 months in barriques, 20% new, a further 7 months on fine lees.
