Open Cellars: our vineyards and the spring air

The highly anticipated "Cantine aperte" (Open Cellars) event, promoted by the Wine Tourism Movement, took place on the weekend of May 27th and 28th. It was two days of true celebration where we welcomed over 200 wine enthusiasts in 5 visiting shifts to discover our region, walk through the vineyards, explore our cellar and barrel room, and taste 5 of our rosé, white, and red wines.

It was two sunny days filled with joy and pleasantness. Adding extra sparkle to Cantine Aperte Ômina Romana was a photography contest to award a magnificent "MAGNUM of MERLOT 2015" for the best shot of our winery taken by our guests.

For Saturday, we awarded Pamela Leoni for her shot capturing a beautiful perspective of our vineyards, where the viewer perceives the precision and strict order of our vine rows. The sea in the distance and the blue sky complete the harmonious scene:

For Sunday, we awarded Giuseppe Giuliano for his charming shot where, with a joyful spirit, the wine seems to dance out of the glass among our vines. The female hand holding the glass harmoniously completes the shot.

We thank all the participants who, with dedication and creativity, took part in our initiative.

In the coming days, we are organizing our Winery Festival for you, a blend of good food, good wine, and nature. We look forward to welcoming you again to experience more emotions at and with Ômina Romana.
